DANBURY, Conn., Jul. 7, 2006 – TP Engineering, Inc., the premier manufacturer of performance Evo V-Twin motorcycle engines and transmissions, has completed development of their new Pro-Series ® performance cylinder heads. Thanks to TP’s exclusive MegaTorque intake port and detonation-free combustion chamber riders will experience an arousing level of useable power across the engine’s entire RPM range. “Our dyno testing shows a significant increase in both torque down-low and peak horsepower”, said company president Tom Pirone, “we’re making over a hundred ft. lbs. of torque at seventeen hundred RPM – once you ride one you’ll be sold.” Together with re-designed cylinders, the new top end has a rounded, muscular look. The new Pro-Series ® performance top-end will be standard on all 2007 model-year engines available later this season from TP Engineering.

DANBURY, Conn., May 1, 2006 – TP Engineering, Inc., the premier manufacturer of performance Evo V-Twin motorcycle engines and transmissions, has moved into their new sixty-thousand sq. ft. headquarters in Danbury, Connecticut. “This facility is just what we needed”, said company president Tom Pirone, “We couldn’t fit any more machinery in our old building and we were out of power. Here, we’ve already put another horizontal on the floor and power won’t be an issue.”

“We chose Danbury for a number of reasons, including that it was only a few miles away and we wanted to retain as many employees as possible” noted vice president Duke Wainright. “It was a great move for the company’s future.”

TP Welcomes Steve Kay as new sales representative

(01/2006)   TP Engineering is excited to welcome Steve Kay as our new inside sales representative.

Steve has spent the last seven years as the northeast road rep for Bikers Choice where he was ranked top salesperson in the country twice, and was one of the top three in all the others.

He started riding when he was seventeen, and has been hooked on v-twins since he rode his first Harley in 1978. Prior to actually working in the industry, he spent about ten years helping to set up and work the custom bike show at the Fun Spot in Laconia, at the time sponsored by Bikers Choice. He got to hang with, and learn from, some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry.

We’d like to take the opportunity to introduce Steve to our customers and associates in Cincinnati at the Vtwin Expo, so please stop at our booth. It’s located just inside the main entrance, number 507.
